bulletWorld Affairs Council of Northern California/BAGEP (co-sponsored by the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, U.C. Berkeley)

A one-day workshop at the World Affairs Council in San Francisco - exploring the politics of Turkey today and the history of a country that spans two continents and three regions. The program includes a special session for educators with lesson plans and student work exemplars from standards-based lessons on Turkey. Facilitated by Bay Area teachers Jeanne Kohl, Nancy Midlin, Susan Sevilla, and Mary April Brown.
