Supplies

Program Materials

We will provide books ahead of time, as requested by participants. Participants should arrive with:

Clothing

San Diego generally has sunny, mild weather in July, with temperatures in the mid-70s to low 80s during the daytime and the 60s at night. You will not need specialized clothing for any of our actvities. Make sure to bring comfortable walking shoes for our museum day.

Food

9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Participants will have one hour each afternoon for lunch. Without a car, your off-campus dining options will be somewhat limited. However, on-campus dining options are available to visitors.

During the summer, Pavilion Dining will be open, as will the Tu Mercado deli.

Restaurants along Linda Vista Road are ~15 minutes (walking) from the center of campus.

After Hours

Outside of program hours, San Diego is filled with delicious food options. Here are a couple of things to whet your appetite.
